A visit to Ocho Rios is a must for all visitors. Ocho Rios is one of the most beautiful towns in Jamaica. You'll see lush green mountains, warm blue bays, deep rain forests bright with tropical flowers and a curving white crescent beach that's almost too perfect to be real.
Leaving Kingston you travel via Spanish Town (formerly the capital city) and up the winding Mount Diablo before descending into Ocho Rios. On the tour you will pass the Ewarton Alumina Plant and several railway crossing and old churches; dotted along the country-side are rural folks actively selling a wide variety of fruits in their rustic roadside shops.
Just four (4) miles from Ocho Rios you will pass through Fern Gully whose roadway is built on an old river bed. Steep hillsides billowing with verdant foliage, give you a cool respite from the sun.

Back in Ocho Rios you can spend a half an hour shopping or browsing through the town where there are displays of native art and craft and duty free shopping before returning to Kingston.
